Places of longing was my own semester project in a semester where I helped so many people with their projects, that I had to make my own i less than a week.

The project course was called “Soundtrack” and the theme was working with sound in the relation to the image (but especially not music).

I found it quite interesting to have sound which did not match the things seen in the image. So I drove around in my hometown and tried to find compositions of places which are not that inviting. In the post production I tried to image what could be at those places which is inviting and build those things in an audio atmosphere.
